The Exhibition " Mafalda in the soup" InThe  National Library Mariano Moreno/Brazil 2015

The famous and questioning Mafalda, character created by Argentine cartoonist Quino, is the subject of an exhibition in Rio de Janeiro / RJ.

Named Mafalda in the soup, the show is open daily from 11h to 19h, has free admission and will be on display at the State Park Library (Av. Presidente Vargas, 1261, center) until the 24th of October.

The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina, the National Library Mariano Moreno, the Embassy of Argentina in Brazil and the Consulate of Argentina and features original sketches of Quino and photo inspired graffiti in character, scanning production processes, broadcasting and transmission of HQ which has become the flagship of the Argentinean mood.

The event is named after the Argentine expression "en su soup," something like "comfortable in your area", and is a play on the dish that character like least - and yielded several strips.In addition to x-ray the creation and production of stories Mafalda, Manolito, Susanita and her friends, the show brings together fan mail, preliminary studies published in the Argentine magazine 7 Días (longer publication of Mafalda), vegetables papers used for the characters and the original of the famous work against the dictatorship of Juan Carlos Onganía (1968).
