The Exhibition Of The Cricature

In The Celebrate 30th "Museum Of Humor Fene"/Spain 2014

The opening of the exhibition of caricature "On the face" constituted the central act of programming designed by the Culture Department to mark this 2014 XXX Anniversary of the Museum of Humor, the only of its kind in the Community and one of the most iconic and singular in Spain.

The show is produced by the Museum of Humor Fene and it shows an important collection of cartoons donated for the occasion by 53 artists and cartoonists Galician, Spanish and international.

Highlights the participation in this project Galicians Abraham Carreiro, Leandro Barea Legs, David Pintor, Carlos Sardine, José Maria Mosquera "Fri" Gog and Gonzalo Vilas. Also collaborated with the Museum of Humor in the implementation of this exhibition cartoonists James Spanish market "Polak" (Mallorca), Raul Iglesias (Leon), Moses Ramirez "Moi" (Cordoba), Jose Luis Castro Lombilla (Sevilla), Jose Maria Varona "Che" (Cordova), Alex Gallego (Barcelona), Maria Picasso (Barcelona), Jose Julio Gomez Sanz "Romance" (Madrid), Monica Ruiz Losa (Vic), Ernesto Priego (Montcada i Reixac) and Daniel Muñiz Castelló (Bilbao ).

Among the characters caricatured emphasize actors and actresses such as Jack Nicholson, Laurence Fishbourne, Michel Constantin, Laurel & Hardy, Vincent Prize or Judy Dench; athletes like Neymar, Andres Iniesta or Michael Schumacher; politicians Rajoy, Pablo Iglesias, Alberto Ruiz Gallardón, Obama, Fidel Castro and José Mujica; writers such as Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Jose Saramago and Francisco Ayala; painters such as Pablo Picasso and Frida Kahlo; musicians like Mike Jagger, Jimi Hendrix, Billy Idol or Freddy Mercury.

The exhibition will remain in the House of Culture Fene until December 20, Monday to Friday from 10 to 13 and from 16 to 21 hours and on Saturdays, from 10 to 13 hours. From there, will start roaming corners municipalities, social organizations and schools on request.
