CEDHU Piracicaba (National Center for Graphic Humor of Piracicaba) and the Piracicaba International Humor Exhibition invite female cartoonists to participate in the exhibition Lipstick, Pencil and Whatever They Want. Lipstick, Pencil and Whatever They Want is a graphic arts exhibition held since 2011 as an official program of CEDHU Piracicaba, and aims to encourage and offer space to Brazilian and foreign artists (amateurs or professionals) to showcase their productions within the scope of the celebrations. Cisgender and transgender women and all those who consider themselves women in all their diversity can participate. Theme: The themes are free, for authorial works in the categories of caricature, cartoon, cartoons, comic strips (HQs) and sculptures. Lipstick, Pencil and Whatever They Want 2025 – exhibition of cartoons, caricatures, cartoons, illustrations, sculptures, comic strips and comic strips. Exhibition location: Parque do Engenho Central – Armazém 14* - Av. Dr. Maurice Allain, 454 – Vila

Opening date: March 8, 2025 - (Saturday)*

*Exhibition period: from March 8 to April 6, 2025 (Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm), Saturdays from

9 am to 2 pm

Conditions of participation

a) To participate, the artist must send the registration form provided by the organization

(attached) along with the works, filled out legibly and signed. To validate the registration, all fields must be

completed.

b) The works (up to three per artist) can be sent by mail or email (digital files in

jpeg format, 300 dpi resolution and maximum of 5M).

c) The theme and technique are free. Sculptures will be accepted. Maximum formats: on paper - A3; sculptures - 42 cm (height) x 30 cm (depth) x 30 cm (width). (CEDHU is not responsible for any damage caused to the works during transportation by post or other carrier).

d) Deadline for submission of works: February 10, 2025

e) Simply registering implies the assignment of the copyright of the works for reproduction and publication in any physical, printed or digital medium, with the aim of publicizing the event.

f) There will be a selection of the works that will be exhibited in the exhibition, under the responsibility of CEDHU-Piracicaba. g) CEDHU will not return the works to the artists. The original works will not be returned by the organization, and must be collected from CEDHU within 6 (six) months, after the closing date of the exhibition. h) The works do not need to be unpublished.
