Theme:Universe
Competition Rules – Bomburova Šabla 2025
• Competition works can be created in black and white, color, or any technique on A4-sized paper.
• Each author may submit up to five entries.
• This year’s theme: Universe.
• Please label each work on the back with the following information: title of the work, author’s full name, age, occupation, phone number, and email address.
• The competition is divided into two age categories:
• Category 1: Up to 15 years of age.
• Category 2: Over 15 years of age.
• Submission deadline: April 24, 2025 (postmark date).
Awards:
Category 1: Up to 15 years of age
First place: Material prize
Second place: Material prize
Third place: Material prize
Category 2: Over 15 years of age 
First place: Financial reward of 500 €
Second place: Financial reward of 300 €
Third place: Financial reward of 100 €
• If a winner is unable to attend the award ceremony, deposit fees will be deducted from the prize amount.
• The jury reserves the right not to award any prize or to grant Honorable Mentions.
• The best works will be showcased in a special exhibition during the “Days of Brezno 2025” event.
• The exhibition opening and award ceremony will be held on May 29, 2025, at the Synagogue, Štúrova 11, Brezno.
• Submitted works will not be returned, and organizers reserve the right to publish and promote them.
