Topic: Cancellation of first place prize

As a result of the jury meeting held on May 11, 2024 at the 14th International Turhan Selcuk caricature competition organized by Milas Municipality, the claim that MEHMET AKIF ÖZDAL, the owner of the work, which won the first prize, committed suicide, has been investigated and it has been determined that this person had previously copied numerous caricatures belonging to other artists and participated in various competitions.

Therefore, we have decided to cancel the first prize for 2024
