RULES

The competition achieved remarkable international success, attracting 1,663 cartoons from 66 countries, highlighting the global relevance of water as a vital and shared resource.

The Winners:

First Prize: Jerzy Stepniak / Poland

Second Prize: Atefeh Yariyan /Iran

Third Prize: Alessandro Gatto /Italy

Best Flemish Cartoon: Stefaan Provijn / Belgium

The exhibition features the works of the four award winners, alongside 26 additional selected cartoons.

The exhibition is currently on display at the Library of Sint-Genesius-Rode until 21 February.

Following this, it will travel across Flanders and Brussels, visiting cultural centers, libraries, and community venues—inviting audiences to laugh, pause, and reflect.
