Among the activities planned for this year 2015 the Museum of Graphic Humor Diogenes Taborda has at its headquarters Av. Caseros 2739, Buenos Aires, Argentina, exposure of Arequipa artist Omar Zevallos Velarde. The exhibition "CARICATOUR" includes a selection of drawings and sketches in pencil or ink pen of the most famous faces of yesterday and today, caricatures of artists and historical figures, drawings, in which you can appreciate the magnificent performance of the artist Omar Zevallos from a humorous perspective, where the color treatment, proper use of shade and synthesis of life-giving strokes among others portraits of Rembrandt, Picasso, Salvador Dali, Oscar Wilde, Saramago, Mario Vargas Llosa, Julio Cortazar, Albert Einstein, Chaplin and Louis Armstrong.

Internationally he won the prize of the Union of Journalists of Cuba, at the Sixth Biennial of Graphic Humor of San Antonio de los Baños in Cuba and Citation and Bronze Medal awards at the International Competition of Graphic Humor of the newspaper "Yomiuri Shimbun" Japan on two occasions (1985 and 1986). In addition, the Third Prize at the Outstanding Political Humor KTnokke-Heist in Belgium. "

Omar Zevallos had the honor and pleasure of appearing in the great Brazilian magazine "illustrate" directed by the brilliant artist Ricardo Antunez, who decided to publish a sample of their work in Section Open Space. He was elected to sign the "100 Masters of Graphic Humor" about the World Peace that was held in Italy. He was also invited as a member of the International Jury of the 35th edition of the International Festival of Humor of Knokke-Heist in Belgium in 1996. He has published three books of mood: "Every Man for Himself", "Do not make me laugh" and "Yes, dear ". He has recently published "Strokes and Laughter," a book about the history of painters and caricaturists of Arequipa.

His works have been exhibited in salons Museums Humor and almost everyone: Japan, Belgium, Cuba, Bulgaria, France, Spain, England, Italy, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, etc.

Currently their political humor cartoons published in newspapers and magazines from more than 30 countries.
