Duke University and the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists (AAEC) will jointly host a political satire festival to take place on Duke’s campus from September 22-24, 2016. Anchored by the annual convention of the AAEC, the three-day festival will feature a variety of programs to celebrate satire in the political realm.The festival will include opportunities to engage students and the public throughout the three days:    An Evening with The Simpsons!
    A conversation with fact-checkers from Samantha Bee Full Frontal and The Daily Show!
    Panel discussions on HB2, cartoons and cops, Republican humor, international censorship, illustrating Donald Trump, and cartooning for The Onion!
    Student improv and sketch comedy performances!
