It's incredible to see everyday life in several illustrations that we received this year 2023, at the 19th LIMEIRA INTERNATIONAL HUMOR SALON. What a fantastic experience to be able to see more than 1200 works sent by hundreds of artists from around the world. The first thing to do is to thank all the participants, who once again bring us joy, reflections, colors, textures, information and culture into our lives, with lots of art.

The best news, without a doubt, is the record number of 56 countries registered. We would like to individually thank each country and each representative of their culture, who participated in the 19th LIMEIRA INTERNATIONAL HUMOR SALON 2023. Our gratitude to all the artists who have been promoting this event with such beauty for almost two decades.

In every edition we have great difficulty in selecting the 100 drawings for the final exhibition, this year among the 365 pre-selected works by 106 participating artists, for us the choice is made with great responsibility and care, as if each of the works sent it was from a loved and loved one. It is gratifying to know that we had 179 artists who sent the correctly completed registration form, out of 277 registered, a very good percentage. One of the most difficult tasks we have is seeing the Technical Committee unable to accept a magnificent work because it does not comply with the regulations. Our mission here is not to judge, but to praise the transparency of the process of selecting works for exhibition and awards, in this sense, we are very grateful just to be able to receive the works that artists produce. We also get a lot of pleasure when we know that a great talent is eligible to receive an award.

Our dear thanks to the support of the Municipality of Limeira, to the Mayor Mr. Mario Botion, to our dear friend the Secretary of Culture of Limeira Mr. Farid Zaine and his entire team, to everyone in the city of Limeira who contributes to this cultural action in for the benefit of our city and at the service of the world of Arts.

Our thanks to Martin Collin Olivatto, Tutti, and Paulinho from Contábil Brasília, the Judging Committee, to all the people who contributed to the dissemination of our work during registrations, a huge thank you to the committed team at Editora O Piu, which dedicates many, many hours of the year to carry out this wonderful event blessed by the Father.
