VII Manufactory Satire Resolved/Poland,2016

On July 6, 2016. In Zyrardow, Gallery ,, Resursa "a meeting of the jury VII National Contest of Satirical Manufactory ,, Satire. Żyrardów 2016 ". The competition was organized in particular for Żyrardów year. City celebrates 100 years of civic rights. It is also the year ,, Philippe de Girard ". Thus, exceptionally two themes in this year's competition: ,, Żyrardów. Yesterday, today, tomorrow "and ,, Philippe de Girard. Life and inventions. " This last topic dominated the entries submitted to the competition. Jury: Elizabeth Laskowska (President) - p.o. Director of the Museum of Caricature in Warsaw, Beata Rusinowska - Deputy Director of the Department of Promotion in Zyrardow, Witold Mysyrowicz - President of the Association of Polish Caricature Artists and Zbigniew Kołaczek - initiator and curator of artistic OKS ,, Manufaktura Satire "and Gallery ,, Resursa" in Zyrardow, evaluated 60 works 33 authors from all over Polish. The jury, using the regular right to change the distribution of prizes, awarded three prizes Equivalent instead of I, II and III awards.
