Selected Exhibition of the best works presented to the 6th GIN Competition/Spain,2017
The Quevedo Institute of Humor, the Gin and Humorist Foundation present an exhibition that gathers a selection of the works received in the call for the sixth edition of the GIN contest, a call promoted by the Gin Foundation, which in this edition has been organized in collaboration With the Quevedo Institute of the Arts of Humor of the General Foundation of the University of Alcalá.
The exhibition includes 77 works, of the nearly one thousand drawings that have reached the organizers, and whose authorship corresponds to 283 authors from 56 countries.
These data indicate that this is a very good example of the mood that is made in the world right now.
It also reflects the most important issues of the world today.
The authors have focused on issues such as war, justice, migrants, corruption, but also white humor with issues such as art, cinema or the passage of time, to name a few.
This is the first time that an exhibition linked to this call has been organized, but the initiative is born with the intention of consolidating itself in the next editions, which will be marked by the close collaboration between the two organizers: the Gin Foundation (Humoristán) And the Quevedo Institute of the Arts of Humor (IQH) of FGUA.
The exhibition can be visited until February 26 in La Fábrica del Humor (Alcalá de Henares).
